A job advert is also a piece of PR and marketing – it’s a company’s brand being strengthened or diluted. Its not just people who are looking for a new job, reading the advert – its your customers, potential customers, suppliers, clients and competitors. 

What about somebody ‘happily’ employed by one of your competitors who is looking for a competitive edge against you but is then drawn in by your job advert, your role and your company? 

So many companies spend a fortune on marketing and branding but their job adverts erode and dismantles all of that hard work.
